The Canadian
Community Newspapers Association is pleased to present its
88th National Convention in partnership with the Manitoba
Community Newspapers Association, and the Canadian
Newspapers Association. The 88th National Convention
will take place May 9-11, 2007, in Winnipeg, and will
be attended by industry leaders and senior managers from newspapers across Canada.
A federation of seven regional newspaper associations, CCNA was
founded in 1919 as the Canadian Weekly Newspapers Association
(CWNA), and held its first convention in 1920. Today, the CCNA
represents a membership of more than 700 community newspapers,
which are primarily English-language publications.
